You own your time

My life changed when I realized this. I used to think I didn't have time for certain things. In reality, at any given moment, I was choosing to do what I wanted most.

I don't say, “I don't have time to work out or write code today.” I admit that I've decided not to work out or write code today.

When it comes to managing our time, we have to admit that we control how we spend it.

Of course, your boss, parents, or family may expect you to do certain things. But don't forget that you still control your time and can choose how to spend it.

If you don't have time for something and it isn't important to you, be honest with yourself. You probably just don't want to do it, and that's okay.
