Hell yeah or no
Published:
When we're young, we don't have many opportunities, so we're likely to say yes to most offers that come our way.
At some point, the offers outnumber the hours we have free. That's when I use the “hell yeah or no” rule.
These days, if someone asks me to do something, my first reaction tells me what to do. If I think, “Hell yeah, I want to do this,” I say yes. If it doesn't sound interesting enough, I usually say no.
My calendar is full of things to do. Some are exciting; others are simply important and necessary. It's okay to say no, and it's an important time management skill.
